eduBuzz development tasks
Section 1: Portal

- Create A-Z Themes list, link off homepage
- Potentially create a student portal with student-only work highlighted
- Create Flash movie on the benefits of blogging (LTS?)
- Create a parent area with student and teacher work highlighted, information on teaching and learning impact, links to (eventual) media literacy material
- Move 'About eduBuzz' text (edited down) to homepage. Provide link to extended version.
- Identify main hotlinks for people wanting to explore for homepage
- Create latest feeds widget for homepage

- Create instructions on how to create whole class blogging 'kit' (blogs x30)
- Link to new advice on LTS website (when available, August 2007) on blogging, podcasting, wiki etc pedagogy.
Section 3: Marketing and dissemination
- Prior to portal being ready:
- Talks on progress and how we got there in Boston and Scottish Learning Festival
- Ongoing blog posts on progress
- When new portal is ready:
- Create press releases with inhouse Comms people
- Scottish Learning Festival to promote in talks and TeachMeet
