How do I create a new eduBuzz blog?
Go to edubuzz.org/blogs and click the link "Create a blog". You'll be prompted for the blog's name. (If you name it myclassblog then your blog will have the address http://edubuzz.org/blogs/myclassblog.) Choose the name carefully; ideally it should be short, easy to remember and convey something of what the blog's about. If there's no such blog already, a new blog will be created. You'll be asked for your email address and that will be used to send you your login details.
Help! I've forgotten my password for the eduBuzz WordPress blog system.
Go to the login screen and click the "Lost your password?" link. You'll be prompted for your login name and your email address.
If you don't remember your login name, you'll need to contact an administrator.
Can I use WordPress on Apple iBooks?
Yes, you can, but Apple's Safari web browser doesn't display the WordPress visual editor properly. This means that instead of seeing a user-friendly editor toolbar with the familiar buttons for wordprocessing tasks - like bolding text - you'll see a more basic editor with cryptic tags aimed at those familiar with HTML.
The answer is to avoid Safari, and use the Firefox browser. It's now part of the standard software build on the iBooks used in schools.
